Within a circle, ‘al-ḥamd lillāh / lā ilāha illā Allāh / Muḥammad rasūl Allāh / ṣalla Allāh ʿalayh / wa sallam’ (‘Praise be to Allah. There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. May Allah bless him and grant him peace’ in Arabic); in the margin, mint and date formula, mostly effaced. Rev. Within a dotted circle, ‘[Hakanu Ariba] / Argunun / Deledkeguluk / sen Arigu’, followed by the word ‘altan’ in the right field (‘Struck by Arghun, the vice-regal governor of the Khan.
